Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar International Airport or jammu railway station or volvo stand. You will be greeted by your driver/representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Check-in Settle into your accommodation. Local Sightseeing After some rest, visit some famous sites in Srinagar: Shankaracharya Temple Situated on Shankaracharya Hill, this temple offers panoramic views of the city. Dal Lake Enjoy a serene evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake, surrounded by the majestic Himalayan peaks. Dinner & Overnight Stay. Enjoy Kashmiri cuisine for dinner and spend the night in your hotel.
Day 2: Srinagar – Tulip Garden Tour
Morning After breakfast, visit the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, the largest tulip garden in Asia. Witness the mesmerizing view of millions of tulip flowers of different colors spread across the garden. Spend ample time walking around and enjoying the festival atmosphere. There may be cultural events, stalls, and other activities during the festival. Afternoon Head towards the Mughal Gardens including: Shalimar Bagh Built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his wife Nur Jahan. Nishat Bagh Known as the ‘Garden of Bliss’, with beautiful terraces overlooking Dal Lake. Chashme Shahi The smallest Mughal garden, but with an exquisite layout and natural spring. Optional Visit the Pari Mahal, a historic monument offering stunning views of Srinagar and Dal Lake. Evening Return to the hotel for relaxation. Dinner & Overnight Stay Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 3: Excursion to Gulmarg or Pahalgam
Option 1: Gulmarg
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (approx. 1.5 to 2 hours), which is known as the ‘Meadow of Flowers’. Enjoy the scenic beauty, or opt for an adventurous Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak, where you can enjoy snow even in spring.
Option 2: Pahalgam
Alternatively, visit Pahalgam (approx. 2 hours drive), a picturesque valley along the banks of River Lidder, known for its breathtaking landscapes.
– Visit Betaab Valley and Aru Valley for their lush meadows and mountain views. Return to Srinagar In the evening, drive back to Srinagar. Dinner & Overnight Stay Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Srinagar or houseboat optional.
Day 4: Departure from Srinagar
Morning After breakfast, check out from your hotel or houseboat. Shopping If time permits, explore local markets for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts, pashmina shawls, carpets, and saffron. Airport Transfer You will be dropped off at Srinagar International Airport for your onward journey.
