Exploring Shimla and Manali, two of the most popular hill stations in Himachal Pradesh, India
Day 1: Delhi to Shimla

– Arrive in Shimla either by car, bus, or via train to Kalka, then take the toy train to Shimla.
– Check-in the hotel and Settle into your hotel, freshen up, and relax.
Local sightseeing
The Ridge: A large open space in the heart of Shimla, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Mall Road: Take a walk along Shimla’s most famous street. Shop, enjoy local food, or just stroll around.
Christ Church: Visit this iconic landmark, the second oldest church in North India.
Jakhoo Temple: A short hike or drive to the temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, located at the highest point in Shimla. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 2: Shimla – Kufri & Local Sightseeing
– Breakfast at the hotel**.
Visit Kufri (approx. 16 km from Shimla): Known for its scenic beauty and as a winter sports destination.
Kufri Fun World: Enjoy activities like horse riding, skiing (in winter), and adventure park rides.
Himalayan Wildlife Zoo: Home to rare species like the Himalayan Monal and other animals.
Chail Palace: If time allows, you can visit Chail, famous for its palace and cricket ground. And Snow Kingdom in kufri for every snow activity when the nature denide for snowfall.

– Return to Shimla in the evening and enjoy a quiet evening exploring the **Lakkar Bazaar** for wooden artifacts or souvenirs.Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 3: Shimla to Manali (250 km, 7-8 hours)
– Check out after breakfast and start your journey to Manali.
– En-route stops*
Pandoh Dam: A beautiful stopover with a serene view of the dam.
Sundernagar Lake: A peaceful lake amidst picturesque surroundings.
Kullu: Explore the town famous for handicrafts, and you can indulge in adventure activities like river rafting in the Beas River and paragaliding
– Continue the drive to Manali. Arrive in Manali in the evening, check into your hotel, and relax. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 4: Manali Local Sightseeing
– Breakfast at the hotel.
– Local sightseeing
Hadimba Devi Temple: A beautiful wooden temple located in a deodar forest, dedicated to Hidimba, wife of Bhima from the Mahabharata.
– Vashisht Hot Water Springs: A must-visit place to take a dip in the natural hot springs, located in the quaint village of Vashisht.
Manu Temple: A peaceful temple dedicated to Sage Manu, the creator of mankind in Hindu mythology.
Tibetan Monastery: A peaceful monastery showcasing Tibetan culture.
Mall Road: Enjoy an evening stroll and shop for souvenirs. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 5: Solang Valley/ (Rohtang Pass Excursion own cost)
– Early breakfast at the hotel.
– Day excursion to Solang Valley (13 km from Manali):
Adventure activities: Depending on the season, enjoy paragliding, zorbing, skiing, snowboarding, and snow activities.
Rohtang Pass  (if accessible depend on weather & govt. permit allow, approx. 51 km from Manali): Famous for its snow-capped mountains and adventure sports. (Note: Rohtang requires a permit, and it’s usually closed during winter months due to heavy snowfall) .Return to Manali by evening. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 6: Departure from Manali
– Check-out from the hotel after breakfast.
– Depending on your travel arrangements, you can explore the local markets for last-minute shopping.
– Head to the drop to airport/ railway station or on road journey for dropping to delhi/ chandigarh & back to home.
